From NAV to BC, and far
beyond go-live

We've spent over 25 years working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly NAV). We know every version, every module and every quirk of the migration process to guarantee a project with no surprises.

Migration from NAV / Navision

Upfront analysis of the existing C/AL code, conversion to AL extensions, data migration with RapidStart and configuration tools, parallel testing and support through go-live.

Functional and technical support

Support plans by prepaid hours with a defined SLA. We cover functional issues, module configuration, resolution of standard errors and questions about Microsoft's release waves.

AI services with Microsoft Copilot

Deployment and configuration of Microsoft Copilot in Business Central: AI-assisted bank reconciliation, inventory forecasting, sales order agent and natural-language financial analysis. We design automation flows with Power Automate and Copilot Studio to remove repetitive tasks and speed up decision-making in your business.

AL extension development

We build AL extensions published to your SaaS environment or to AppSource. We adapt BC to your industry's specific processes without modifying the base code, keeping compatibility with every wave.

API and Dataverse integrations

We connect BC with Salesforce, e-commerce platforms, POS systems, logistics platforms or any third-party application using BC's REST API v2.0, Power Automate or Dataverse.

Power BI on Business Central

Deployment of dashboards using BC's native Power BI connector packs: finance, sales, purchasing, inventory and manufacturing. Embedded reports in BC and mobile access from the Power BI Service.

for Business Central

We extend BC's capabilities with certified integrations to the leading platforms in CRM, digital marketing, treasury and payment management. Built on Business Central's official REST API v2.0.

Two-way sync between Salesforce Sales Cloud and Business Central. Customers, opportunities and orders flow automatically between both platforms. A single master record with no duplicates: sales reps in Salesforce, back office and logistics in BC.

Mailchimp Connector

Export BC customer segments to Mailchimp lists filtered by purchase volume, category or geography. Measure your campaigns' impact directly from the ERP and automate sends triggered by BC events (first order, contract renewal, inactivity…).

Kyriba Connector

Connect Business Central to the leading cloud treasury management platform. Payment proposals from BC are exported to Kyriba for approval and bank execution. Cash positions, cash flow forecasting (BC's AR/AP + Kyriba) and SWIFT/SEPA communication with full traceability from BC.

Sage XRT Connector

Integration with Sage XRT (Sage Treasury) for centralized payments, cash pooling and multi-channel bank communication (SWIFT, EBICS, SEPA). Ideal for groups with multiple entities in BC: centralize the payment factory, sync liquidity and automate bank reconciliation between Sage XRT and BC's general ledger.

Jira Connector

Connect Jira Software to Business Central to link projects and sprints with BC's Jobs and service orders. Hours logged in Jira are posted automatically to the BC project, support tickets generate service orders and the team's real cost is reflected in the ledger with no manual intervention.

mySAT

A lightweight technical service desk natively connected to Business Central. Manage service calls, work orders and maintenance contracts, and automate billing tasks directly in BC: delivery notes, service invoices and collections with no double data entry.

Need to integrate BC with another platform? We build custom connectors on Business Central's official REST API v2.0.

Everything you need to know

How long does a migration from NAV or Navision take?

It depends on the number of modified C/AL objects (pages, reports, codeunits) and the volume of historical data. A standard migration project ranges between 8 and 20 weeks. Before giving any figure we run a free technical analysis of the existing NAV environment to estimate the real effort of converting to AL, the complexity of the data migration and the testing timeline. The analysis is free and comes with no commitment.

What's the difference between Essentials and Premium?

Essentials includes every Business Central module except Manufacturing and Service Management. Premium adds the full production module (BOM, routings, production orders, MRP and capacity planning) and the service management module (contracts, orders and repairs). If you manufacture products or manage maintenance contracts, you need Premium. In any other case, Essentials covers 100% of your needs.

Can I combine Essentials and Team Members licenses in the same company?

Yes. Business Central licensing is Named User-based and allows mixing all three plans within the same tenant. It's common for back-office users (accounting, purchasing, warehouse, sales) to use Essentials or Premium, while users who only approve invoices, check balances or enter timesheets use Team Members at a significantly lower cost.

Does Business Central SaaS update automatically? Do I have any control?

Microsoft publishes two release waves a year (Wave 1 in April, Wave 2 in October) plus monthly minor updates. As the tenant administrator you can schedule when each update is applied, enable a Sandbox environment to test it before it reaches production, and postpone minor updates for up to 30 days. styg supports you through the validation of every wave to make sure your extensions and customizations keep working correctly.

What is Microsoft Copilot in Business Central?

Copilot is Microsoft's AI assistant built into BC. The current version includes: AI-assisted bank reconciliation (it proposes matches automatically), inventory forecasting, marketing text suggestions for items, natural-language financial analysis, and the sales order agent that processes customer requests received by email autonomously. It's included in the license at no extra cost.

Can BC connect to our e-commerce, POS or logistics system?

Yes. Business Central exposes a standard REST API v2.0 for all its objects (customers, items, orders, invoices, etc.) and has native Power Automate connectors for over 400 services. For complex or high-volume integrations we build AL connectors or use Dataverse as an integration bus. Tell us what systems you have and we'll propose the most suitable architecture.
